Therapy Pool
Our school has an indoor 10mx5m heated therapy pool. The pool was opened on the 30th March 2012. The pool is designed with a 3 sided ramp entrance, ceiling hoist tracked from the change rooms to the pool and an aqua chair.
This highly sophisticated facility makes access into the pool a reality for all our students to enjoy.
Swimming skills and water safety are taught in groups of small numbers. This allows for safety in the water but also enables focused instruction for each and every child. Intensive water therapy is provided on an individual basis.
Our pool has also proved to be popular with Austswim trainers. We have conducted a number of training sessions for teachers to be accredited to teach swimming.
