At Mackay District Special School we pride ourselves on our capability to cater to everyone and offer a wide range of other activities such as, sensory exploration, water play, free movement time and calming relief through drawing and craft. Students are able to participate in incursions held at our school and excursions in the local area. Older students also have the opportunity to participate in work experience, leadership activities, sailing and cooking just to name a few.
